It’s no secret that the world has very quickly turned into what feels like a very scary place. In the wake of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, people are being forced to self-quarantine, major events around the world are being cancelled and postponed, and the uncertainty of what lies before us has everyone on edge.

But all hope is not lost. In fact, over 70,000 people have already recovered from the virus. It’s easy to get sucked into the fear and panic spread across social media, but stories of hope and optimism are still out there. If you can’t find them on your phone, try looking for them on your TV with these 13 shows that will make you feel like you’re wrapped in a big hug.

One Day at a Time

This heartwarming sitcom will make you laugh, cry, and everything in between. One Day at a Time follows the lives of the Alvarez family as single mom Penelope tries to navigate her way through raising teenagers, fighting the patriarchy, and coming to terms with her PTSD from fighting in the Army. If you need more proof that this show is worth watching, fans basically singlehandedly saved it from cancellation when Netflix decided to drop it. The new season airs on March 24 on Pop, and we are so ready for the Netflix shade.
