Westworld season 3 continues this Sunday and, as per usual, we have very little idea what’s going on.

Are we used to this yet?

Last week’s premiere introduced a new world to HBO’s twisty technological series – our own. Dolores, Bernard and four other as yet unidentified hosts are now out of the park, off the island and in, for all intents and purposes, the world we know. Just in 2058, a world that has hover cars and lots of terrifying new algorithms.

We also met Caleb, the new character played by Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul, a blue collar construction worker, whose life feels as prewritten as any of the hosts who were once in Westworld. We just don’t know precisely what Dolores wants with him yet. (That meet cute at the episode’s end felt very convenient, is all I’m saying.)

The season’s second episode is titled “The Winter Line,” and the above trailer does confirm one thing – Bernard is headed back to Westworld to find Maeve. But the same trailer – as well as the promotional photos for this installment – confirm that at least some version of Maeve and Hector are now in the park known as Warworld, which looks to be a recreation of World War II-era Europe.

So…what now? We’ll have to tune in on Sunday and find out.
