While many of us have our Hogwarts houses that we’d be a part of, there is a truth behind the knowledge that we’re all just a muggle and that’s absolutely okay.

Being a muggle reading the Harry Potter series isn’t easy. We want to be a part of the magic and be a witch or wizard too. But, unfortunately, we all are, most definitely, muggles. But I’m here to tell you that that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Sure, we’d rather run around and say we are either a Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw but the reality is that we’re not witches or wizards. So, look, a muggle is great because we get to appreciate the series, look to these characters and what they mean for us as fans of the series, and it’s not that terrible really.

The thing is, muggles get to enjoy the magic, enjoy the fun of the series without having to be the one wielding it.  And that’s fine because look, we all want Hogwarts to be real. We all wish that we could have gotten our letters and went to Hogwarts (or if you’re an American, Ilvermorny) but the sad truth is that we are not wizards or witches.

So the real question is: How did being a muggle end up a bad thing in the first place? Well, probably because we all wanted to be a witch or wizard and the idea of being just a normal human didn’t seem that fun but I think that it’s fine we’re all muggles and it’s going to be fun anyway.
