The drama between Amelia, Link, and Owen (and Jo, Tom, and Teddy) continues on a new episode of Grey’s Anatomy this week.

Alex Karev is gone for good (probably). Richard Webber may be having a late-life crisis. Bailey and Warren have a new “son,” and Meredith Grey may not be single for much longer.

That’s just brushing the surface of all the drama (good and bad) unfolding on Grey’s Anatomy as we inch closer to the season 16 finale, now just a few months away.

The last time we saw most of our cast (excluding those who had to endure Alex’s heartfelt letter — and the grief that came with it), they weren’t in the best of sorts. Owen and Teddy seemed to be on great terms until she showed up at Tom’s door. Amelia and Link weren’t on speaking terms. And Jaggie is now in danger of re-emerging after Jackson’s sincere apology.

And just when we thought we’d never learn the results of Amelia’s paternity test, Grey’s did what it does best and hit us with an “all will be revealed” promise in this week’s promo.

It’s pretty safe at this point to guess that Teddy will somehow (illegally?) discover the results on her own, and that Amelia will stick to her commitment not to find out. She could end up telling Tom, who might unintentionally (or intentionally) relay the information to Owen — which would be, as you can guess, very bad news. For someone. Possibly him.

Further complicating things is the new dynamic between Link and Jo. Both now heartbroken after losing the people they loved and cared about most, they’ve started leaning on each other for emotional support.

They’re longtime friends, and there’s no guarantee their collective heartbreak could lead them out of the friend zone and into something more. But things seem to be leaning in that direction, especially if it’s revealed that Link isn’t the father after all.

Way to go, Alex. You ran off to Kansas (not Iowa) and everything’s falling apart. Hope you’re happy now. Tell (spoiler) we said hello.
