Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 7 episode 7 live stream: Watch online
After last week’s focus on Jake and Amy’s troubles conceiving, it looks like this episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will shift its gaze to the other precinct members.
It’s not often that we get an episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine that’s more emotional than it is comedic, but last week’s episode certainly fit the bill. Jake and Amy’s struggle to conceive a child was a poignant display of the infertility troubles many couples are forced to go through — and it really was hard to keep a dry eye after seeing Amy so discouraged.
This week’s episode looks like it will shift its focus back onto the other members of the 99th Precint, and specifically, it seems that Captain Holt will have an obstacle to overcome. Per NBC, the official synopsis for tonight’s episode reads:
"“Capt. Holt deals with a personal loss; Jake must decide whether to take Terry or Charles to an exclusive event.”"
What Holt’s personal loss is remains a mystery, but we hope everything is okay with Kevin and Cheddar. As far as the event Jake is dragging Terry or Charles to, the promo for “Ding Dong” suggests it has something to do with boxing.

The promo shows Terry and Charles with boxing gloves on, as Jake asks Terry if he really is cool with “ending Charles’ life.” Hitchcock and Scully, of course, are excited about the fight — but what kind of event could Jake have possibly snagged a plus-one to that would evoke this much rivalry between his coworkers? Whatever it is, it’s sure to make for a comical entry into Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s seventh season.
