Undercover Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adam
Undercover Bromance — Lyssa Kay Adam‘s second installment in her Bromance Book Club series — cooks up a romance between a chef and a nightclub owner. Liz Papandreas is out for revenge after getting fired from her job as a sous chef for the most in-demand restaurant in Nashville. The restaurant’s owner, a celebrity chef, was harassing a hostess, and Liz confronted him about it.
Liz spoke up, and now she’s been tossed out into the cold. No restaurant will hire her; she’s essentially blacklisted. The only person who seems willing to do anything to help her is Braden Mack, a nightclub owner who is all for her plan to expose her former boss for the creep he is. But Liz isn’t so sure about Braden’s motives. She doesn’t trust the sparks between them, and her goal is getting some comeuppance for her ex-boss not falling into a romance.
Needing help, Mack seeks the counsel of his Bromance Book Club friends who, in turn, draw inspiration from the romantic suspense novel they’re nose deep in. The novel is a sure bet in assisting with setting up a sting to catch the celebrity chef in the act of harassing his employees. It’s also the tool the book club uses to help Mack lower Liz’s defenses, so she can let him into her heart.
Undercover Bromance is available March 10 in print, audio, and e-format.
