Project Runway Season 18 episode 13 live stream: Watch online

In this week’s Project Runway, the four fashion designers have created their collections for New York Fashion Week, but did someone get too conceptional?

Four fashion designers seek the Project Runway season 18 title. While they have come a long way since episode one, their collections for New York Fashion Week need to impress on a whole new level. Although an element of “safe” might be appropriate, these designers do not want to squander their big shot. Did someone think too far out of the box?

While Bravo did not provide a synopsis for this week’s episode (nor a title for it), the two preview videos have sparked a few questionable choices. Can anyone really think that a boob sleeve is going to be a new fashion trend?

Still, the preview video featuring Geoffrey shows that he really pushed the creativity in this challenge. Although some people might think that the puffer-jacket-like pieces have been done before, it is a slight departure from some of his earlier looks.

While Geoffrey was on a roll during the end of the Project Runway season, the judges will not let him get a free pass. The times where Geoffrey went too far left field caused him to almost go home. As it has been said before, a little restraint can be a good thing.

In the other preview video, Sergio is back on his soap box. While he does deserve credit for being an eco-conscious designer who used up-cycled fabrics, the clothes need to speak volumes, not his pontificating.

While fashion can always make a statement, the design needs to speak, not the designer. As it was seen in previous challenges, Sergio’s commentary can be abrasive.

What happens in Project Runway episode 13 remains to be seen. There could be another elimination, there could be another twist, and there could be a cliffhanger. Everyone will have to watch to see what happens.
