Minecraft has finally got a Harry Potter RPG for all to enjoy!

Ever wanted to play a Harry Potter RPG through Minecraft? It’s been a long time coming but the Minecraft School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is finally here.

Ever wanted to attend the Hogwarts School of Wizardry and Witchcraft? Ever since you found out that your letter from Hogwarts never arrived, of course you have! Now you get your chance with a Harry Potter RPG game through Minecraft.

Okay, you sort of get the chance. It’s not quite Hogwarts, but you will get the chance to attend the Minecraft School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You can thank the Floo Network modding group for that.

It’s a replica of Hogwarts, where you’ll get to learn how to cast spells, brew potions, and duel with other witches and wizards. While it is still relatively new, there are plenty of quests to take part in and items to collect. You can even pay a visit to the beautiful snowy village of Hogsmede or take a trip down Knockturn Alley. And yes, Quidditch is possible, too.

It was only a matter of time before Minecraft found a way to bring a Harry Potter RPG to life. You’ll just need to download the Minecraft School of Witchcraft and Wizardry alpha to your setting and jump straight in.

Remember that this is still in the baby stages. There may be a few bugs to work out and not everything is quite Harry Potter. It’s close enough for you to enjoy your time at Hogwarts finally.

There may be some original storylines. Part of the promotion shares that players will be able to “discover secrets and mysteries.”
