Pottermore gave us tips as to what position we, as fans, should play in Quidditch based on our personalities and honestly, it’s just even more confusing now than it was before. Mainly because…what if we end up relating to more than one idea?
So, let’s talk about it. For seekers, the idea is that if you’re a thrill-seeker, you’ll make a good seeker. You know, what makes sense. And from there, all their tips to figuring out your Quidditch position is…pretty much the same.
For a chaser, be goal-oriented. Which…of course, it’s important you’re focused and the one who will keep your eyes on the prize. Keepers? You have to be selfless. “Free-spirited exuberant”s? You guys should be beaters!
But that’s not all, Pottermore went on to talk about referees and commentators and every aspect of Quidditch that existed in the Harry Potter world. The thing is…maybe some of us should just be fans of watching.
There’s a fear that comes with being a Quidditch player because of how violent it can get but, in the end, many of us like the sport because that’s what we know from the series. So whether you’re a seeker, keeper, beater, or chaser or just someone who is in the stands, cheering on your favorite house or team, there is a place for everyone in this series with Quidditch.
Maybe it’ll be better if we always dream of what position we’d play but then again, who knows.
