Newt Scamander and his brother, Theseus, had an interesting relationship that the Fantastic Beasts franchise has just begun to explore. But we’ll see even more in the third film!

Fantastic Beasts 3 is still a ways away from us but news that Theseus Scamander actor is probably returning for the third installment to the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series makes for an interesting look into where this movie can be taking us.

The thing is, so much of this series is a mystery to us because we don’t have the books to go off of. This is a new world which means that anything can happen in Fantastic Beasts 3 and that’s maybe what’s so exciting about this journey.

With Callum Turner returning to his role as Theseus Scamander, we can only assume that the brothers will actually start to work through their past problems with each other and get closer, right? There is so much for this series to unpack, now that we have more information on Creedence Barebone and Grindelwald’s plans but still, there are relationships that need to be formed and explored too.

Hopefully, Jude Law will also be returning to the series as young Albus Dumbledore because he was a fantastic addition to the cast in The Crimes of Grindelwald but until we have more information in general, we’ll have to just speculate on what’s going to happen in the third movie. Will they figure out if Grindelwald was lying to Creedence or not? Will they get Queenie back? We’ll have to wait and see!
