How the Lady Was Won by Shana Galen

How the Lady Was Won is a selection for our historical romance enthusiasts. It is the seventh book in Shana Galen’s The Survivors series, and follows Lady Daphne.

Known as one of the Three Suns, Daphne is used to the world revolving around her, too bad her husband, Colin Fitzroy, doesn’t seem to notice her like the rest of society. They’ve been married for seven years, and while she was excited at first, war is the kind of bedfellow in a marriage that will bring the whole thing down. It doesn’t help that Colin hides his feelings behind a mask.

Being The Pretender worked for Colin during the war but it won’t work for him with Daphne. After years of estrangement, she won’t hear of him helping her even though she’s in danger. He’s left her alone all this time, he might as well continue doing what he’s best at, but Colin is determined to keep her safe. If that means persuading through seduction then so be it. He intends to protect his wife even if he can feel his mask slipping the more time he spends with her.

How the Lady Was Won is available as an e-book.
