Doctor Who season 12 continues tonight with nightmare-fueled hour “Can You Hear Me?” Here’s how to watch online and not miss a minute.
With just two episodes to go before the highly anticipated two-part season finale, it’s unclear exactly how Doctor Who will choose to wrap up its season.
Will it focus on bringing all of season 12’s various storylines together – giving us answers about the secrets of Gallifrey, the identity of the Timeless Child, and/or whatever Jack Harkness’ whole deal about the so-called Lone Cyberman was about?
Is the show going to basically ignore all of that and tell serviceable and self-contained stories for the next two weeks and then ramp things back up as soon as we hit the first half of the finale? Hopefully, not. But it’s certainly possible. It’s not like it hasn’t done it before.
But, if the teaser trailer is anything to go by, no matter how it shakes out this is going to be one creepy episode.
It looks like our monster of the week is a literal nightmare creature, with the power to affect people in vastly different places and times. Is it all the same creature? Different branches of a similar monster family? Or something else entirely?
We’ll have to tune in and find out.
