Stormsong by C.L. Polk

C.L. Polk is releasing Stormsong, the second installment in The Kingston Cycle, this month, and it promises to be an epic follow-up to Witchmark. This sequel picks up with Grace and Miles dealing with the fallout from the events of the previous novel. Even though they seemingly undid the troubles plaguing their nation, more have followed — and Aeland is in danger of crumbling if they can’t figure out how to stop the current threats as well.

Winter storms, unfriendly queens, out-of-control mages, and a looming revolution are just a few of the problems Aeland is facing. It’s going to be a task to stop it all from destroying the kingdom, and that’s not to mention that the main characters are trying to survive on top of it all.

Some other features that will appeal to SFF readers are as follows:

"“Magical cabals, otherworldly avengers, and impossible love affairs conspire to create a book that refuses to be put down.”"

Stormsong hits bookstores on February 11, and those wishing to know how the characters fare after book one will definitely want to grab a copy. And if all the exciting components of this book aren’t enough to appeal to readers, there’s always the gorgeous cover to sway them.
