The King of Crows by Libba Bray

Libba Bray is rounding out her Diviners series this month, with The King of Crows hitting shelves on February 4. The fourth and final installment will show the Diviners facing off against the United States government and the King of Crows himself — and all in the wake of the tragedy that swept the group during the last book.

Memphis and Isaiah are on the run from the Shadow Men when Isaiah receives a vision that could be the key to defeating the King of Crows once and for all. Of course, it’ll be up to the Diviners and a new character — Sarah Beth Olson — to make that happen. Jericho and the others head to Bountiful, Nebraska to prevent the King of Crows from enacting his plans, but the synopsis suggests it won’t be quite so simple:

"“But as rumors of towns becoming ghost towns and the dead developing unprecedented powers begin to surface, all hope seems to be lost.”"

Fans who have stuck with the Diviners through the first three books won’t want to miss out on the epic conclusion to their story. Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like a happy ending is guaranteed. (Knowing Libba Bray, it may not even be sort of likely.)
