Are you looking for a wearable piece of art for your closet to help make 2020 stylish and iconic? Then you need to take a look at these Kaftans.

Whether you spell it Kaftan or Caftan, these tunics (some people consider them to be more like robes) have been around for thousands of years. Worn in many cultures and with Asiatic origins, this is a piece of clothing that has a long history.

There are many ways that one can wear a Kaftan, and there are any number of fabrics and materials that can be used to create these works of art. In fact, you can easily find Kaftans made of silk, wool, cotton, and cashmere, to name a few.

Growing up, my mother had a collection of Kaftans that she picked up on her travels in places like Egypt and Morocco, and I remember loving the way they flowed and how easy they were to style. At one point, she even had a friend who gifted her with a wool Kaftan that was perfect for winter months in Massachusetts (seriously, no jacket required with this beauty). She would wear them with heels and leggings to work, and I remember wanting to have that same sense of style when I grew up. (P.S.: It totally didn’t happen.)

And now it seems that the Kaftan is once again getting the attention it deserves, as fashion houses like Pax Philomena look to offer consumers a wide range of options to add to their closets. Perhaps what makes Pax Philomena the brand that I am choosing to turn to for a stunning Kaftan is the fact that they offer a wide range of fabric choices and price points. Or perhaps it is the fact that, for every purchase, a portion of the proceeds is donated to charity. In fact, according to a press release about the company, I learned that they choose to donate to the Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity.

Whatever it is that makes Pax Philomena my choice for Kaftans, I am here for the amazing designs and styles they are offering. And for 2020, this feels like the one piece that everyone should be paying attention to.

Whether you are looking for something colorful or more neutral, there is something for all style lovers. And while I love neutral colors and black for my own wardrobe, I am truly in love with all of the vibrant pieces that Pax Philomena has available right now. The fact that there are different lengths and styles available on the site, just adds another layer to the magic of finding the right piece for you.

One of my personal favorites on the site has to be the Luisa Teal Midi Kaftan Dress which is a gorgeous color and seems like a perfect length for any number of occasions. Plus, I love that there is a bit of a story to this piece, since it is named after a friend of the company’s founder. Seriously, if I had this Kaftan Dress in my closet, I would be wearing it to so many events just to show off the gorgeous color and details.

Another favorite is the Karma Short Kaftan Dress, which is truly a work of art in every way. Here is a piece that is decorated by hand, making each one absolutely unique. The fact that it is also a black and gold design means that I would totally wear this anytime I could. This is one of those Kaftans that would work for so many occasions, and would definitely have people talking in all the best ways.

Honestly, there are so many different colors and styles that it can be hard to choose a favorite. But once you find the right Kaftan for you, it will be an investment in a piece that is truly making a statement. And knowing that Pax Philomena is also doing good by donating to charity with every purchase certainly helps to make them the company I would choose to pick up one of these wearable pieces of art.
