Things are changing for the ladies of The Bold Type. Here’s how you can watch the start of the new season online.

It’s a new year, and after six months on hiatus, fans are in for a new dynamic at Scarlet Magazine when The Bold Type kicks off its fourth season.

When we last left Kat, Jane, and Sutton, they were arriving at the Scarlet offices to find chaos. Jacqueline is missing and everything is being packed up into boxes. By all appearances, it seems the consequence of Jacqueline’s decision to overhaul the Fall issue in just 17 hours is the swan song of Scarlet.

On top of that, the personal lives of the ladies are all in upheaval as well. Jane has decided to give Ryan another chance after kissing a woman on his book tour, Sutton believes Richard should follow his dream to San Fransisco, and Kat has chosen to forego a relationship with Adena in order to find herself again — which will be especially awkward, considering Adena’s just accepted the position of Scarlet’s in-house photographer.

The good news is, Adena’s new job mean Scarlet is still standing. The bad news is, Jacqueline won’t be part of it anymore. That’s the first thing the episode promo makes clear.

Thankfully, we’ll still be seeing Jacqueline changing the world and fighting for women. We’ll still be getting trips to the fashion closet. But otherwise, Sutton lays it out quite clearly: “A lot is changing.”

Jane may have given Ryan another chance, but that doesn’t mean she’s just letting his indiscretion go. Their relationship is changed forever. And if that means Jane takes a hall pass to kiss another guy so they’re even? That’ll be a wild change in her personality.

In fact, Katie Stevens — the actress who brings Jane to life — teased just how different Tiny Jane may be this season in a post to her Instagram:

By all accounts, it looks like we’re in for a wild ride.
