Killing Eve doesn’t even have a premiere date for Season 3 yet, but there’s already great news. The spy thriller has been renewed for a fourth season.

BBC America doesn’t even have a premiere date for Killing Eve Season 3 yet, but that hasn’t stopped the network from making a decision on the future. It’s good news for fans of the spy thriller. Killing Eve Season 4 is officially happening.

What does this have to do with the world of Harry Potter? The series stars Fiona Shaw as Carolyn Martens. She’s been in the series from the very beginning and is currently listed on IMDb as being in the premiere of Season 3.

More from Harry Potter

You’ll best know Shaw as Petunia Dursley, the sister to Lily Potter and aunt to Harry Potter. If you haven’t watched Killing Eve yet, you’ll get to see Shaw as someone a little more likable than she ever was playing Petunia. That certainly does mean you get to see just how great of an actress she is.

Carolyn is introduced in the opening of the pilot as the Head of Russia Desk. Naturally suspicious, she sets up a team to figure out who is assassinating important people in Russia, and one of those recruits is Eve.

Of course, Killing Eve fans have mostly followed Sandra Oh’s Eve as she tracks down the female assassin. That assassin is Jodie Comer’s Villanelle, who has also been given the opportunity to show off her acting abilities. The second season left us with a major cliffhanger, but it looks like it will be resolved in a positive way considering the show is coming back for a fourth season sometime in the future.

Fiona Shaw isn’t the only Harry Potter alum who will be in Killing Eve Season 3. The series added Pedja Bjelac to the cast last year, who is best known as Igor Karkaroff in The Goblet of Fire. It’s going to be fun to see who he plays on the small screen.
