We have a lot to think about with our favorite characters and their love lives but Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange are certainly an interesting addition to the conversation.

Thinking about Voldemort doing the nasty isn’t exactly what many of us want to be imagining but then Harry Potter and the Cursed Child came along and we really didn’t have a choice. In the play, Harry comes in contact with Delphie and learns, eventually, that she is Voldemort’s daughter and wants to bring her father back and stop Harry from succeeding.

What I didn’t need was to think about Voldemort ever being with anyone let alone having a child. She manipulates Harry’s son Albus and makes him, essentially, do her bidding. While fun and interesting to explore, I want to instead go back to the idea that Voldemort had sex with someone.

There’s just something about the idea of him being with anyone that is unnerving and yet, here we are. Even if it was Bellatrix Lestrange, it’s still weird that all of this went down behind the scenes and Harry and his friends were none the wiser. Was there just a nine-month period where no one saw Bellatrix?

It’s just weird that now we, as fans, have to go back into the series with this information in our heads and wonder where it happened, where was Harry and his friends, what was going on. I don’t want to think about it too much but then again, now this information is presented before me and here we are.
