Is there a new Project Runway episode on December 26?
After opening all those holiday gifts under the tree, is there a new Project Runway episode to unwrap this week or do fans have to wait till after the new year?
Can fans expect a new Project Runway episode on December 26? After the designers slayed the runway during the unconventional materials challenge, the Bravo fashion competition will not have a new episode on before the new year.
While there will be a week off, it is a great time to look back at the first three episodes. Even though Project Runway season 18 is still new, there has been some chaos already. From one designer taking ill to a double elimination in episode one, this season has seen some unlikely turns.
Although it is still early in the season, one designer seems to be taking a lead. Sergio has created some beautiful designs and has been in the top twice. While he is full of confidence, it will be interesting to see if he can continue that winning streak.
There have been many designers who have been very quiet in the first few episodes. For example, Nancy, the oldest ever Project Runway designer, has been in the shadows. Her looks seem to be interesting, but they haven’t been a top look.
Also, Chesley is a very talented designer from Chicago, but she hasn’t been a top look either. It will be curious to see when she can break out of the middle.
Overall, this season has been a little subdued on the drama levels. So far, everyone has been supportive and helpful. As the competition continues, that all-for-one attitude might quickly fade away.
On January 2, 2020, Project Runway returns with “The Ultimate Upcycle.” The idea of re-purposing clothes from Goodwill is a great way to start the New Year. Maybe it could inspire some budding designers, too.
