There are so many aspects of the Harry Potter series that many of us like to keep to and one of those things is the Deathly Hallows but why is that?

There is a common theme among fans of the Harry Potter series: We tend to love the story of the Deathly Hallows. From tattoos to necklaces and the symbol being put on display everywhere around the world, we tend to represent the story of the three brothers more than anything else. I think part of the reasoning is because we love the story they told.

For me, my best friends and I all fit one of the brothers. One of us loves kings and queens and the idea of power. I love sentimental things and want to keep my loved ones close and then, the other, just wants to hide away and not be in trouble ever. So…the three brothers.

But it is also a story that many can relate to because we all have someone in our lives like that. Maybe that’s why Rowling wrote it or maybe that’s why it became one of the bigger symbols of the series, even if it didn’t come into existence until the seventh book.

Whatever it is, there’s just something about the Deathly Hallows that we tend to cling to and it’s fascinating. Probably because we all love it enough that we would willingly talk about the Hallows or label ourselves as one of the brothers with our friends and family just to all be a part of the series.
