Daniel Radcliffe could be in the running for another lead role. This time, it’s for one in the MCU. Here are the details of the potential casting.

Daniel Radcliffe became a household name in his first role, the lead in Harry Potter. Now he could make a household name for himself again in another franchise. There’s a chance he’s the lead in one of the upcoming MCU movies.

According to Comicbook.com, Twitter influencer and CNBC writer, Daniel Richtman, shared that Radcliffe is in the running to play the MCU character Moon Knight. His name has reportedly been thrown into the mix, ready for the start of Phase Four.

More from Harry Potter

Richtman believes that Radcliffe will be perfect for the role. While other Marvel characters are unique in their own ways, there’s something crazy and unpredictable about Moon Knight, and that requires a very specific actor. Who better than Radcliffe, who has certainly impressed in the many roles that he’s performed over the years since Harry Potter for his quirkiness.

Marc Spector, as Moon Knight is also known, is a rather charming person but will switch to villain in an instant. There are also multiple personalities within Spector’s head, which makes this role extremely challenging for any actor. After all, the actor who takes on the role will need to be able to talk to each of the personalities and show each of them vie for control. It’s not that much of a surprise the character hasn’t popped up in the MCU yet.

It would certainly be interesting to see Radcliffe in a role like this. Seeing past work, he could certainly take on the challenge. At least, that’s my opinion.
