For the last two weeks, The Aeronauts has been performing well in theaters. It’s soon time to watch it on Amazon Prime Video. The Eddie Redmayne movie will be available at the end of the week, but what time can you start streaming it?
If you’ve been waiting for the movie to head to Prime Video, you’re not alone. This is how many Fantastic Beasts fans have waited to check it out, and the wait is almost over. In fact, there’s a strong chance that you’ll be able to watch the movie earlier than planned.

The official release date is Dec. 20, but there is a chance you can watch on Dec. 19. The Aeronauts is an Amazon Original movie, which means it’s going to be released at midnight GMT on Dec. 20. Time zones work in our favor in this case, as many Amazon Originals are released at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. ET the day before, so you should start looking on the streamer at Dec. 19.
The early release isn’t guaranteed. You can keep checking throughout the day, but it will definitely be available by midnight in your local time zone.

The Aeronauts is a movie that sees Redmayne join forces with Felicity Jones again. They already proved their on-screen chemistry in The Theory of Everything, and now we get to witness it all again. This time, they’re not husband and wife. Redmayne is a man looking to change the way the world predicts the weather, while Jones wants to reach the highest point of the world in her hot air balloon. They both have something each other needs, bringing an adventure of a lifetime.
