What your choice in a Harry Potter character’s wand has to say about you
When it comes to being a fan of Harry Potter, many of us have our favorite characters and we often buy the wand to go with them so what does your wand choice say about you?
For many fans of Harry Potter, owning a wand from your favorite character can mean a lot. You get to represent the one you love while also owning a wand, it is a win-win situation. The problem is that it says a lot about you on who you chose.
For instance, if you have Harry’s wand, you probably are a Gryffindor. I don’t make the rules, I just speak from experience (I own Harry’s wand and I’m proud of it) but also if you own another character’s, you can start to understand what about this series you love most.
I have Sirius Black’s, Hermione Granger’s, Harry Potter’s, and my own. All of which is telling as Sirius Black is my favorite character, Hermione and Harry are the characters I wish ended up together, and I personally want to be a witch. It all checks out.
At the end of the day though, what our wand choice says about us is that we love this series. We care enough about Harry Potter and his friends to display aspects of these characters in our homes or our places of work. I’m proud of my wand collection and have them on display. My Gryffindor scarf is always seen.
What it all means is just that we love Harry Potter and even if the series has been over for some time, we still will always go back to our love for it and our love of Hogwarts.
