Scared Little Rabbits – A.V. Geiger

A summer coding competition ends in tragedy in Scared Little Rabbits, a suspenseful teen mystery series/romance. When Nora is invited to test her coding skills at a prestigious school, she thinks her path to the future is clear. But she’s not ready for the cliquish-driver world of Winthrop Academy, and is left feeling lonely and overlooked.

When she becomes drawn into the world of augmented reality app InstaLove, things change,. She can discover crushes and send secret messages with other students with the flick of an eye. There, she befriends a mysterious and handsome boy. Sure, in the real world, he’s sort of the boyfriend of Winthrop’s mean Queen Bee Eleanor, but in the virtual world, he seems to like Nora an awful lot.

But when a dead body turns up, and the digital trail points straight to Nora, she must work to clear her name, before it’s too late.

The official synopsis is predictably vague, but it sounds like the ending of this story is going to be a doozy.

"When Nora gets accepted into her dream summer program at the prestigious Winthrop Academy, she jumps at the chance to put her coding skills to use. But then a fellow student goes missing—and the tech trail for the crime leads back to Nora. With no one else to trust, Nora must race to uncover the truth and clear her name…or she might be the next to disappear."

Scared Little Rabbits is available now.
