The trailer for Wonder Woman: 1984 is finally here!

The trailer for Wonder Woman: 1984 has finally arrived! It might be set in the future, but Diana is still taking names in this sequel.

It’s been a while since Gal Gadot graced our screens in her Wonder Woman getup, and DC fans have been eagerly awaiting more details about the 2017 blockbuster’s sequel, Wonder Woman: 1984. And today at CCXP 2019, we finally got the first full-length trailer for the film — which shows Diana kicking some serious butt, just in the future this time.

Gal Gadot is returning as Diana in film, and Chris Pine will also be reprising his role. Kristin Wiig, Connie Nielsen, Pedro Pascal, and Robin Wright will also make appearances in supporting roles.

The trailer opens with Diana chatting with someone who appears to be a new gal pal about whether or not she’s ever been in love, but it quickly shifts to action sequences — and the shots of Diana wielding her lightning whip are more than enough to have fans running to theaters. It looks like there will be more than a few fight sequences in this film, and the final shots promise a stunning new look for Wonder Woman as well.

We’ll have to wait to learn more about the upcoming film, but on the bright side, June isn’t all that far away. Wonder Woman: 1984 hits theaters on June 5, 2020.
