Sony announced the PlayStation Plus offerings for December 2019, and members are going to be excited for what’s in store this holiday season.

PlayStation Plus members are going to be happy that the holiday season is coming up, because the Plus offerings Sony announced for December are just about as solid as you can get.

Below are the two new offerings for PlayStation Plus members in December:

  • Monster Energy Supercross — The Official Videogame
  • Titanfall 2

Check out the announcement trailer below:

Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame is such a long gaming title and was released in 2018. It’s a standard bike-racing game, but the amount of things it offers will keep players entertained for hours on end. From the riders and tracks to the track editor to the hundreds of customizable items, you’ll find yourself wasting hours.

But that’s not the big gun offering for December. Oh no. That goes to Titanfall 2 — the one that has PlayStation Plus members salivating.

Titanfall 2, if you don’t already know, is Respawn’s  2016 follow-up to Titanfall and is a critically acclaimed first-person shooter. Polygon named it one of the games of the year for 2016. Its focus on gameplay-first settings resonated well with players and took many back to simpler gaming times.

Plus. Giant robots.

It’s a single-player campaign that walks you through nine chapters of sprawling world play, from jungles to military structures to factories that are all gorgeous in their own ways. The campaign itself is only six hours, but it’s enough to make you want to look into the multiplayer aspect of it.

What the plot doesn’t give you in creativity, it makes up for in game mechanics and character banter and honestly, one of the game’s only downfalls is that the plot is… well, relatively predictable. But that doesn’t make Titanfall 2 any less fun.

So, for that gamer in your life, keep a PlayStation Plus membership in the back of your mind as a potential Christmas present.
