Watchmen: Angela revisits her family history in this week’s preview
To hide what she got from her grandfather, Angela quickly swallowed his memories. This week’s Watchmen is exploring everything she needs to know about her family.
In order to hide the truth about her family, Angela swallowed her grandfather’s memories on last week’s Watchmen. Trying to figure out her own family history, she didn’t tell those she worked with what she discovered about Judd’s death. She didn’t let them know she knew who did it and knew what happened to him.
But that was mainly because she wanted to explore her own history on her own terms, and it backfired when Wade thought he was protecting her from the Seventh Kalvary. So, what does that mean for this week’s episode? If the promo shows us anything, it’s that taking those memories isn’t going to be an easy experiment for Angela.

As we can see in the preview, Angela doesn’t remember who she is. So her move to save the memories of William slightly backfired because now she’s experiencing them all at once and can’t really figure out who she is and who he is. But that’s just what we can see in the trailer. Maybe, in the episode, she’ll understand more of her own history and how William ended up becoming the man she knew him to be.
To be quite honest, it seems like a fun way to explore a lot of Angela’s history without having each episode dedicated to a part of her past. So, it will be interesting to see how everything pans out for her — and, more importantly, how the show gives us more into Angela after she knows everything from her family. It seems as if everything is character-centric each week, and it is about time we learned more about Angela and Sister Night.
