Batwoman shows tensions rising between Kate and Sophie this week, all while the Kane family drama continues.
The most recent episode of Batwoman confirmed something fans had already long suspected: that Sophie does, in fact, know about Kate’s secret identity. With that cleared up, we’re left to question what Sophie’s going to do about her ex’s newfound career as a vigilante — because as much as we’d like her to take Mary’s advice and not throw Batwoman under the bus, we know that skirting the law isn’t exactly in Sophie’s nature.
From the end of “I’ll Be Judge, I’ll Be Jury,” it seems like Sophie had plans to tell Jacob — at least until she walked in on the emotional moment he was having with his daughter. After seeing the two of them finally getting along, it’s possible Sophie changed her mind about revealing who’s beneath the Batwoman mask. But she may just be waiting until a less awkward moment to bring it up.
From this week’s synopsis, fans can surmise that Kate will approach Sophie about the secret the two of them now share. Will the two come to some sort of agreement?

Of course, Kate and Sophie aren’t the only ones being put in awkward situations in “Tell Me the Truth.” The Kane family has all but fallen apart during the first half of this season, and poor Mary seems to be the only one actually coping with it. It also looks like Catherine and Jacob will now be forced to face what’s between them — though it’s unlikely to lead to a reconciliation any time soon.
Adding in this “mysterious friend” Kate and Luke will be encountering, this episode of Batwoman seems poised to deliver the drama and suspense we’ve come to expect from the series.
