There are many things up in the air when it comes to Watchmen, and this week’s episode seems to have even more questions for us. Who knows when we’ll get the answers?
With three episodes under our belt, we have started to see the world of Watchmen begin to grow. Branching into characters from the original graphic novel while still giving us the backstory for some of our new favorites, the series is doing a great job of bringing this interesting alternate reality to life.
This week, it seems as if Laurie and Angela are going to have a lot on their hands as they begin to deal with everything happening around them, and Adrian Veidt is still attempting to bring back his days of glory. While we saw a glimpse of Dr. Manhattan in interesting ways last week, it is going to be fun to see if we have any more interaction with him as well.
There are still plenty of questions being asked by the series — especially with Judd and his dark past — but it feels like we might just have even more questions by the end, instead of any kind of clarity over what is happening. Are we going to start to see Laurie Blake explain more of her past and why she took on her father’s name? Is Angela’s connection to this all on a deeper level going to become more clear?
We’ll have to wait and see, but I have a feeling that this week’s episode is just going to give us more to question.
