Our favorite fictional characters and their Hogwarts Houses: Who would be a Gryffindor
Ever look at your favorite character in something and want to know what their Hogwarts house would be? Well, we’re looking at some iconic characters who would Gryffindors.
Some times I think of characters in other properties and try and figure out where they would fit at Hogwarts. So, why not bring that here? Think of a character like Leslie Knope. While she names herself as a Gryffindor, I probably would have categorized her as one long before she did herself.
She’s brave, stands for what she believes in, and is always ready to help her friends. From there, you can look at characters like Steve Rogers with his Gryffindor ways or even see how Tony Stark is also a Gryffindor. Samwise, while reluctantly a Gryffindor, is still brave and will protect and help his friends in a way that breathes Gryffindor to me.
Sure, none of these are canon because they are entirely two different properties but it is fun to categorize these characters as such. Like looking at any property and figuring out where the characters we love most would fit at Hogwarts.
Is everyone going to work? Of course not, not all of us fit perfectly into one house, but that’s what makes Hogwarts and, specifically, Harry Potter so interesting to me. Harry didn’t fit in just one house, he was both Gryffindor and Slytherin, but he chose and went with it so sure, these characters could be a mixture of houses but they pick which they want and that’s fun to look at too.
No matter what, it’s just a bit of fun for us as fans of the Harry Potter series.
