Who would play the American professors if we explored Ilvermorny more?
Ilvermorny is the American equivalent to Hogwarts but we’ve yet to see the school. Here are some actors we’d love to see bring American professors to life at the school!
Let’s talk about Ilvermorny. We don’t know much about it but we do know the houses and that school pride runs deep. So, what if we got a series showing the American school and got to use some of our favorite actors to bring the characters to life?
Betty White as Head Master? Yes please, get Harrison Ford as a professor and maybe Robert Downey Jr. as the hot potions master. Patti LuPone can help teach divinations, Jeff Goldblum is there for Defense Against the Dark Arts…you get my drift right? Sure, it can be laughable when you think about it that way but it still is fun to think about the school we seemingly know nothing about.
We all fell in love with Hogwarts wholeheartedly because it was the school we knew best. So what if we got to finally got to learn about the American school? Wouldn’t our allegiance switch to the one closest to us?
I mean, probably not, we love Hogwarts but still, I think it’d be fun if we got even a glimpse at Ilvermorny throughout the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series. The mentions are enough to hold us over for now but I want to see what these American witches and wizards got to experience while they were at school too! Were there fun staircases and talking portraits? We have to know!
