Fantastic Beasts 3 filming to begin in February 2020 say Dan Fogler

During a recent Wizarding World fan convention. Dan Fogler stated filming for Fantastic Beasts 3 is set to begin in February 2020.

Wizarding Wold fans desperate for news about Fantastic Beasts 3 got exactly what they wanted during LeakyCon Boston. Dan Fogler, who portrays NoMaj Jacob Kowalski in the Harry Potter prequel franchise, was on hand to answer fans questions and he had news to share about the upcoming movie.

The most exciting news shared by Fogler was how filming for Fantastic Beasts 3 is set to begin in February 2020.

With the delay to production made by Warner Bros. shortly after the release of Crimes of Grindelwald. Fans have been left in the dark as to when filming would begin.

Along with conflicting reports of J.K. Rowling completing the script for Fantastic Beasts 3. It was reported to have been completed, only for it to be reported several months later that she was still working away on the script.

This update from Fogler gives us a much clearer picture as to where things are in bringing Fantastic Beasts 3 to the big screen:

"We start in February…Last we heard, J.K. has been writing furiously. Everyone was really happy with what she submitted. We’re just waiting to read the script, and that’s where we’re at."

As you can see, from what Dan Fogler has said, it couldn’t be clearer. J.K. Rowling has been working hard on the script, the cast are still to read it, and filming is set to begin very shortly.
