Do we really need a Harry Potter subscription service in 2019? Or is it too late?

Harry Potter has been a source of our love for quite some time but do we really need a subscription service for the series now after all these years or is it past the point?

There are rumors that there is going to be a Harry Potter subscription service for $75 dollars a year. While fun, it does beg the question: Do we really need a service for Harry Potter merchandise and what not in 2019?

We have been fans of this series for so long that it seems almost idiotic that this hasn’t happened before. Especially since there have been subscription services for fans for at least the last few years and with the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series, it would have worked out. But now, to me, the idea of spending that amount of money for the series (which most of us own already) and some other merchandise for our houses maybe?

It sure is interesting to think about the series we know and love and how it fits within our fandom loves now. Sure, we’re always going to love the Harry Potter series but I just think that there comes a point where that love remains but shifts to being less than our main source of joy.

Who knows though, maybe this subscription service is going to be amazing and something we need to have in our lives but until we know more information, we’ll just have to decide if this service is right for us all or not.
