AHS: 1984 Episode 5 preview and live stream: Watch online

AHS: 1984 is only halfway through, but the scares, the twists, and the brutal blows just keep coming. Here’s how to watch episode 5 online.

Last week at AHS: 1984’s Camp Redwood, we learned so much about out  would-be campers and their surprisingly malicious motives. We watched Montana pledge her devotion to the Night Stalker, Rita (who’s not really Rita, I’ll remind you), witnessed her darnedest to keep her scientific study (read: urge Mr. Jingles to keep murdering for her academic observation) going, and saw Mr. Jingles himself realize that he may not be the murderer he’d always thought himself to be.

Of course, the week’s—and maybe the season’s, though it’s certainly always too soon to assume anything on a show like AHS—  biggest reveal was that Margaret, our godly, sole-victim-of-a-murdering-spree camp owner, is really to blame for the Camp Redwood massacre of 1970. Gasp!

Now that our leader has suddenly become the one to fear the most, we’re left with a choice: we either root for our campers to figure out that she’s evil and take her down, or we focus our energies on the one person no one’s really worried enough about: The Night Stalker. While, yes, he’s a known serial killer and the gang has been running from him for hours, no one but Rita (and us!) knows that after he was decidedly and unequivocally murdered at the end of last week’s episode, he rose from the dead, levitated of the forest floor, and healed his own wounds. So, uhhhh, I’m gonna say that’s the dude we focus on for now?

And, if the preview for “Red Dawn” is to be trusted, that’s exactly who we’ll be following around this week. Though the synopsis only provides a vague glimpse into our near future- “As twilight broaches, the survivors brace for a final brawl”-  the preview is much clearer: the fight is on. And it’s between…everyone and everyone?

After an entire night of running from various murderers and learning about each other’s horrifying and sordid pasts, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that our campers would start to question each other. But this week, we’re definitely going to be getting more than that. We’re getting full-on battles. It’s on.
