Harry Potter and the Great British Bake-Off: Do we think that Harry, Ron, and Hermione watch?
Sometimes, you just have to think of very British things and wonder if Harry Potter and his friends watch and that’s how I feel about the Great British Bake-Off.
It’s a baffling thing to realize that the characters of Harry Potter would exist in the modern era and probably watch the same shows we do. I like to think about Harry, Ron, and Hermione sitting down each week to watch the Great British Bake-Off.
If it wasn’t the Great British Bake-Off, what if they wanted to catch up on their shows they missed for the last few weeks? There is so much going on in their lives, so much that they each have to deal with that it’d be interesting to see how Harry, Ron, and Hermione just relaxed with one another. Which means that yes, maybe their relaxation entails them watching television together.
Or maybe they should actually just have some normal modern day activities. Because we have only saw Harry and his friends dealing with the lack of connection to the world through Hogwarts and I kind of want to see them just having a movie night at some point.
At the end of the day, thinking of things like this is just fun because we have to realize that these characters would live in our modern world and, with that, it means they’d have to keep up with shows and watch movies together and honestly, let us see that kind of relationship between our favorite group of friends.
