Tonight’s episode of Batwoman will dive deeper into Kate’s relationship with Alice — and present it as our hero’s weakness moving forward.
The Batwoman series premiere last weekend was full of action and suspense, though nothing came as quite a shock as the last-minute reveal that the series’ villain, Alice, is actually Kate Kane’s sister — you know, the one that was supposed to have died all those years ago.
This revelation could present a problem for Kate, who would otherwise have no problem defeating Alice and continuing on with her vigilante lifestyle. But her feelings for her long-lost sister are likely to prove her biggest weakness as the series moves forward — and let’s be honest, it doesn’t seem like Alice is too keen on harming Kate either.
The promo trailer for tonight’s episode already shows Kate arguing with Sophie and her father about Alice, and it looks like we’ll be getting some emotional interactions between characters in addition to the chaos that Alice is causing.

“The Rabbit Hole” also looks like it’ll explore Kate’s transition to becoming Batwoman. Not only does the promo footage suggest that she’ll have to contend with being “the city’s next great hope” — something she didn’t plan on when putting on the batsuit — but it shows her dealing with being the “next Batman” (and a female one no less).
This second episode will build on the foundation of the premiere, presenting plenty of action and drama, so it’s not one that fans will want to miss.
