For many of us, we grew up reading the Harry Potter series and are labeled as the generation who grew up with it. But if you weren’t, that doesn’t make you any less of a fan.

There is something special about being the Harry Potter generation. We grew up reading about Harry and his friends and, in that, we grew with them. We learned things about life from these novels and we still apply those lessons to our every day lives even now.

But what if you weren’t part of the generation? What if you read them later on? That idea is something interesting to someone like me because I am the kind of kid who read them growing up so I don’t understand the concept of reading them outside of that.

It is probably an interesting way of going through the series because there are so many kids who are still growing up with it but then again, it is such a part of our cultural zeitgeist that maybe there is something in it for everyone and that’s why it doesn’t really matter when you pick up the books and read them, as long as you do.

Whatever the case is, it’s just a fun series that everyone can enjoy, no matter when you get into it. Learning about Harry battling the evils of the wizarding world is just something we all love to read about and explore and so, whether you got into the series as a kid or as an adult, it doesn’t matter. You’re a fan.
