PlayStation Plus members are in for another excellent month in October. This time, make sure baseball season never ends and get ready to bawl your eyes out.

Oh, you lucky PlayStation Plus members. The last few months of offerings have been pleasantly solid and consistent.

Below are the two new offerings for PlayStation Plus members for October:

  • The Last of Us Remastered
  • MLB The Show 19

Let’s start with MLB The Show 19. It’s a great time to offer it to PS Plus members, as the regular season winds down and playoffs start up. And if you’re in a city like me where your team is just… not good… you’ll likely want an escape.

One cool thing to note are the new offerings coming to the game in October. Sony’s blog post announcement says:

"“There will be new content dropping in October for MLB The Show 19, which includes the legendary Ted Williams, one of the greatest players of all time. You can also unlock rewards by reliving moments from the 2019 Postseason and the most memorable moments of all time.”"

Oh, The Last of Us. How we love you so. It seems as though Sony put some thought behind this month’s choices, as they just dropped the release date and a new trailer for The Last of Us Part 2.

And if replaying the first game doesn’t get you pumped up, I don’t know what will. The clicks of the Infected still freak me out and give me goosebumps. The whole opening area doesn’t get any easier to swallow with more playthroughs.

The Last of Us is critically acclaimed. What’s to say about it that hasn’t already been said? If you somehow haven’t played this game yet, now is your best opportunity to grab it for free and play at your leisure.

Or buy some snacks and hunker down on your couch for a weekend and watch it all unfold around you.

The Last of Us Remastered and MLB The Show 19 will be available to download from October 1 to November 4. And September’s offerings — Batman: Arkham Knight and Darksiders 3 — are still available until September 30.
