Honoring Hermione Granger while we celebrate her birthday!
Today is Hermione Granger’s birthday and we’re honoring the brightest witch of her age by talking about what Hermione means to us and how her character has grown.
Hermione Granger is celebrating her birthday today and, with that, comes the understanding that we get to talk about her today and why we love her so much! A character who was someone that Harry and Ron underestimated, Hermione quickly became their friend and soon, the Golden Trio was born.
With that came the idea of Hermione Granger on her own outside of her friends. She was dedicated to her work, loved learning, and was willing to do whatever it took to make sure the evil of the world didn’t succeed. It isn’t a unique quality, because her friends were the same way, but there was something beautiful about Hermione’s dedication to working with Harry and Ron to take down the Death Eaters and Voldemort.
But what makes Hermione special isn’t what she did for the wizarding world. Instead, it is what her character did for young girls. So many of us grew up knowing that we could embrace our love of learning, we could be those bookworms who wanted to read everything, and still be a hero. That’s all thanks to Hermione Granger.
So today, on Hermione’s birthday, we’re hoping that everyone goes out there and lives a life that Hermione would be proud of. Go read that book you’ve been putting off or learn all about something new today. Hermione deserves it on her birthday! Happy birthday!
