Millie Bobby Brown is producing a Netflix movie with her sister
Since beginning her acting career as Eleven on Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown has accomplished a ton. And her latest project is a Netflix movie that she’ll be producing with her sister.
If you’ve watched Stranger Things, you know that Eleven is a force to be reckoned with. As it turns out, the same can be said of the actress who plays her; Millie Bobby Brown always seems to be pursuing some new project, whether it’s a vegan beauty line or an acting role in a hit like Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
And it looks like the 15-year-old actress is at it again. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that her latest project will be producing a Netflix movie with her sister, Paige Brown. The film, titled A Time Lost, will be an adaptation of a short story written by the two siblings. Its story will focus on two Long Island families who are at odds with one another — at least until one of their daughters is diagnosed with cancer.
“We are so grateful to Netflix for their confidence in us and this beautiful story, which we have spent years writing and developing,” the Brown sisters said in a statement. “It’s about friendship, family and overcoming obstacles when it feels like the world is pushing you down. It’s been a labor of love, literally.”
Screenwriter Anna Klassen will be working on the film’s script, and it seems that she’s incredibly excited to be involved. After the news was revealed, Klassen Tweeted, “Millie Bobby Brown asked me to write a movie for her… is probably the coolest sentence I will ever write.”
With a compelling premise and Klassen onboard, the Brown sisters’ film is sure to be one we’ll all need tissues for. But then, that’s nothing new when it comes to Millie Bobby Brown’s projects. After all, who actually had dry eyes after the third season of Stranger Things?
