When it comes to going to school and learning the ways of the magical world, Newt Scamander isn’t the best kind of student and so let’s look at his relationship with Hogwarts.

Hogwarts had to throw Newt Scamander out but it didn’t stop his love of learning. He just had to learn a different way. When it came to school, he didn’t particularly like it and that’s not his fault. For some, they’re just not made out for the educational life.

Newt ends up leaving Hogwarts but still exploring and learning as he focused on his love of the magical creatures of his world. There is something about looking at Newt Scamander that can show the importance of learning techniques. For some, it isn’t as simple as sitting in a classroom and absorbing what is in front of you.

For some, it is about the experience and getting out there and that means that Newt Scamander might be the kind of student who wants to be in the mess of it. And that’s fine, it just shows that we all learn in different ways and that while school wasn’t for Newt, learning still is.

He spends his time learning and exploring new creatures and getting into the world of the unknown with them all because he wants to know more. And that is a beautiful message to remember as we think about Newt Scamander. Just because he couldn’t make it by Hogwarts and its rules doesn’t mean that Newt Scamander is anything less than. He just learns differently than Harry Potter and his friends and that’s okay.

They end up learning from Newt and his findings anyway.
