Scorpius and Albus: The great relationship of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

There have been many relationships in Harry Potter that we all turn to and write about but there is something special about Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’s Scorpius and Albus.

In Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the main relationship that many have turned to is that of Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy. Mainly because these two are forbidden to be near each other because of Harry’s hatred for Draco and, throughout the show, they realize that their friendship with one another is more important than their fathers.

So, is it one of the best relationships in the entire series? In a way, yes. They’re the kind of people who don’t care what they’re allowed and not allowed to do because they’d rather be friends with one another. Which is interesting since if anyone told Harry Potter that he couldn’t be friends with Hermione or Ron, he’d probably do it anyway.

One of the greatest things about Cursed Child is that Harry doesn’t recognize that his son, Albus, is very similar to him. He sees James as being more like him and that’s that but really, Harry and Albus are so similar in the way they approach things and how the two react to each other and it is hilarious to look at their relationship throughout the show and how Harry reacts to Scorpius and Albus being close.

There should be a further exploration of Harry and Scorpius’s friendship with each other but it is great to see that the two still are standing together by the end.
