The joy that A Very Potter Musical can still bring to fans even years later
For many of us, A Very Potter Musical was something that brought us joy and gave us songs to sing about our favorite series and there is still a joy that the musical series can bring to us!
A Very Potter Musical was a time for many Potter fans that brought us all together because we could sing about our love. That opening number was sung at many midnight screenings and still, fans cling to the words that Darren Criss and his friends at Starkid wrote.
For us, it was a musical made by fans for fans that just showed everyone’s appreciation for the series and led to many of us loving Darren Criss and his love of this series. While the musical had three parts by the end, we all knew most every song.
For me, “The Coolest Girl” was an anthem that led me through college, reminding me of the importance of Hermione Granger to me and how, even when the world feels like it is against me, I can rise above and remember my own worth.
With that all though, we’re reminded that this series means so much to us all that we’re willing to do things like make an entire musical about it and make it into three separate parts. Harry Potter fans are some of the best fans in the world because we are dedicated to this boy and his journey to stop Voldemort and that’s what makes this series so amazing and why we’re still a part of it all.
