Eddie Redmayne is very Newt Scamander in The Aeronauts trailer

The Aeronauts official trailer has finally been released. You’ll certainly get a sense of Newt Scamander from Eddie Redmayne throughout.
Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones have teamed back up for the Amazon Studios movie, The Aeronauts. The first official trailer is now out and you’ll be forgiven for thinking you’re watching a muggle version of Fantastic Beasts at times.
The trailer does give us an impressive look at what to expect in the highly anticipated movie. However, we also get a glimpse of a man who is eerily familiar. Redmayne comes across as very Newt Scamander throughout the trailer, with a fire in his eyes for a passion project while trying to prove many people wrong.

But that aside, let’s take a look inside the trailer. The Aeronauts is set in the 1860s, a time when science as we know it was still in its infancy. One man believes that it will be possible to predict weather patterns with the hope to prevent deaths from Mother Nature. However, he needs to get above the clouds in some of the most dangerous situations, and he’ll turn to Felicity Jones’ character for that.
Considering it’s the 1860s, it shouldn’t be surprising that Jones’ character, Amelia Wren, is an outcast. She’s doing things that women aren’t expected to do in society. But that doesn’t stop her from reaching for the stars, and she’ll go on this exciting adventure with

There have been some changes to when the movie will be officially released. It was supposed to get the IMAX treatment but that isn’t the case anymore. Amazon Studios has decided to push the release date to December and only give it a short window in theaters before making it available on Amazon Prime Video in time for Christmas.
