TIFF is just around the corner, and this is going to be a film festival to pay attention to. There will be 10 Harry Potter and Fantastic Beast alum projects.

You may not usually pay attention to the Toronto International Film Festival. Why would you when Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts won’t be there. However, TIFF 2019 is the year you want to pay attention with a number of projects from the Wizarding World alums (and current stars).

One thing we will point out is that the actors won’t necessarily attend TIFF. This is going to depend on whether their roles are big enough or if they’re invited to the festival. It will also depend on their projects. However, that doesn’t mean you won’t want to pay attention to the movies.

TIFF 2019 runs from Sept. 5 to 15, and there are 10 confirmed Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts alum projects. Here’s your list in order of promotion dates.

Sept. 6 to 8

Bill Nighy will star in the movie Hope Gap, which will be promoted at the festival on Sept. 6 and 7.

More from Harry Potter

Crossing over with Sept. 7 is a movie from Robert Pattinson, The Lighthouse. His movie will be promoted on Sept. 7 and 8. Those two days will also see the promotion of How to Build a Girl, which stars Emma Thompson. Her movie will also be promoted on Sept. 13.

When it comes to the Fantastic Beasts cast, Eddie Redmayne will be there to promote the Amazon Studios movie The Aeronauts. This movie will also be promoted on Sept. 11.

Sept. 9 to 15

From the Monday, we’re looking at movies from Daniel Radcliffe, Gary Oldman, Michael Gambon, Brendan Gleeson, David Thewlis, and Kelly MacDonald.
