Seeing James and Oliver Phelps in person was a wonderfully fun experience

The Phelps twins are an iconic part of the world of Harry Potter universe and seeing James and Oliver Phelps in person is just as wonderful as you could imagine!

I went to Keystone Comic Con and didn’t plan on seeing James and Oliver Phelps. Mainly because convention life is expensive but it was nice to see that the Weasleys were going to be there. Bonnie Wright and the Phelps twins were doing panels and talking to fans and it ended up being glorious seeing how many people loved talking about Potter.

Which reminded me that it is something we all still love very much but we rarely have these big embraces for the Harry Potter fandom. Sure, there are a few throughout the year but it seems like every convention has less and less Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaws running around and it is a little sad to think that maybe the fandom is fading.

But at Keystone Comic Con, we ended up getting to see the love for Harry Potter renewed. The twins were talking at their booth and I happened to turn around and see them and a part of me was just so happy that, yet again, Fred and George were sitting there and talking and laughing.

I could forget that ‘Fred is dead’ and just look at the twins and remember the joy that their characters in the Harry Potter series have always brought me! So it’s wonderful to see anyone from the series and, if you have the chance, most definitely do!
