Jeff Goldblum as Mr. Boddy

Mr. Boddy is the host with the most, but he makes a very quick exit once he’s murdered, kickstarting the plot of the entire film. That means that whoever takes on the role needs to be able to make a big impression in a small amount of time. And is there anyone who makes a bigger first impression than Jeff Goldblum?

With his lilting voice and off-beat sense of humor, Jeff Goldblum is the perfect pick for Mr. Boddy. He knows how to make the most of even the smallest of roles. Just looks at his cameos in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and The Grand Budapest Hotel. He may not be the lead, but he certainly draws all the attention whenever he’s onscreen, and that’s the type of actor who would be perfect as Mr. Boddy.

Additionally, Mr. Boddy is a very stylish host, and all it takes is one look at  Jeff Godlblum’s Instagram to see that he himself is a pretty snappy dresser.
