Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Autism Friendly Performances scheduled to take place

Autism Friendly Performances of the Wizarding World production, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, are set to take place among other major stage productions.

For the ninth time, Autism Friendly Performances are set to take place on Broadway and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is one of the performances. TDF made the official announcement today, July 29, that the performances would be taking place, along with the productions involved in the event.

Set to begin on September 29 this year. There are five performances involved, each performance on a different weekend, allow fans to see all five of the performances if they wish.

Below are the performances who will be Autism Friendly, along with when they will be held:

  • The Lion King – Sunday, September 29 at 1pm
  • Frozen – Sunday, November 17 at 1pm
  • Wicked – Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 1pm
  • Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 1pm for Part One and 6:30 for Part Two
  • Aladdin – Sunday, May 3, 2020 at 1pm

Tickets are currently on sale for The Lion King only. Considering how far away the other performances are this isn’t really surprising, You can normally expect tickets to go sale roughly 6-8 weeks before the beginning of the performances.

So you shouldn’t expect tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to go on sale until at least 2020, most likely the middle of January.
