Harry Potter: Wizards Unite give us a glimpse into the future at SDCC

Fans of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite have been given a glimpse of what is to come during San Diego Comic Con and one of the Weasleys will be especially happy at the news.
This year’s San Diego Comic Con was a big one for Wizarding World fans. From an insightful look into the Wizarding World production, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, to a Fantastic Beasts reveal, and more, there was plenty of announcements being made, but the biggest came from Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.
The mobile game from Niantic was in attendance at the convention where they held a panel for fans to answer questions. Moderated by the wonderful Felicia Day, Supernatural, the panel where asked questions about Confoundables, landmarks and more.

Fans where also given an idea as to what is in store for them in the future. The first being the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Fan Festival. Registration is now officially open for the event, which is to take place between August 31-September 1, you can learn more about the event right here.
However, what was probably the coolest reveal was the announcement that a very special magical creature would be coming to the mobile AR game. Dragons!

The fire breathing magical creature that made a recurring appearance within the Wizarding World stories are coming and they will make their debut during the fan festival.

Right now there aren’t any other details available about the magical creatures. More details could be released as we get closer to their debut date. As soon as we hear anything, we will let you know.
