Stranger Things and Harry Potter: How the kids in Potter would react to the Upside Down

facebooktwitterreddit

The kids in both Stranger Things and Harry Potter have a lot to face at a young age but how would the Potter kids fare in Hawkins, Indiana against the creatures of the Upside Down?

No one really wants to confront the Upside Down but, on Stranger Things, it is kind of inevitable. So when thinking about the nerdy kids of Hawkins and the Potter series, it is fun to think about whether or not Harry Potter could face off against the Demogorgan and the other creatures that come out of the Upside Down.

As we know, the creatures of the Upside Down don’t fare well when Eleven uses her powers on them but what about magic? Harry Potter has his wand and the ability to perform spells that maybe she never had the chance to learn so would he fare better than she does against these creatures?

To be honest, I think all these kids would end up being friends. Will, Mike, Lucas, and Dustin would probably love that Harry can do magic (especially Will) and Eleven and Max would be friends with Hermione and do the research that the boys think they already know. Not to say the boys aren’t smart, they’re extremely intelligent, but Hermione would still make everyone look into what was going on with the Upside Down.

It would be so amazing to see all these kids trying to solve problems together but we’ll have just to live with the knowledge that, eventually, the kids from Hawkins would love reading the Potter series.
